The Reich College of Education has a rich tradition of preparing future teachers and school administrators to meet the ever – changing needs of public education.
Serving approximately 2,400 students annually in Bachelor, Master, Education Specialist and Doctoral degree programs with both on-campus and off-campus instruction, the Reich College of Education prepares students for employment in public schools, community colleges, universities, libraries, counseling agencies and child development, as well as for careers in apparel and textiles. Appalachian is a leader in the UNC system in the preparation of teachers.
